Prayer Alert
Protestors took to the streets of Moscow in December in numbers not seen since the early 1990s. The trigger for these protests was the fraudulent parliamentary elections in which the pro-Putin United Russia party claimed it received 49 percent of the vote, when it actually received 30 percent. Along with this chronic political corruption, Russians also live with a nagging fear of terrorism and the reality of the absence of the rule of law. Pray that in 2012, tens of thousands of disillusioned Russians will discover true, lasting change in Christ through the outreach of Russian Ministries' School Without Walls teams, partner churches and organizations.
